MY CANVAS
The Journey to the Origin of My Passion for Fashion
My love for fashion did not begin on dazzling runways, but at a small table corner where my cousin used to draw. She was the first person who taught me how to observe and notice the curve of a shoulder, the tilt of a face, the flow of a garment. At that time, I simply felt joy in creating with my own hands, unaware that those quiet sketches would one day become the foundation of a long journey called fashion.

Later, I often found myself scrolling through short videos of catwalks and styling on social media, captivated by beauty but not yet in love with fashion itself. The real turning point came when I attended the Talent Festival of Hanoi–Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and met the members of LaMode Ams. I was struck by the confidence and individuality of the club’s leaders, that moment helped me realize that fashion is not merely about clothes, but a language of identity, emotion, and spirit.

In the fashion world, my greatest inspiration is Gisele Bündchen, a supermodel who was rejected more than forty times by Victoria’s Secret before becoming one of the world’s iconic Ubermodels. I admire her not only for her beauty and success, but for her perseverance, professionalism, and the courage to turn rejection into strength. Her story taught me that fashion is not just a reflection of appearance but a journey of resilience, self-expression, and the affirmation of one’s inner voice.
For me, every photoshoot, every collection, every show has become more than a space to celebrate aesthetics, it is a way to honor people, especially women, in all their diversity. That is why I chose to grow with LaMode Ams, a place where I learned how to transform passion into purpose, and emotion into messages that empower and inspire.
